The Winemaker and his Vine

Le vigneron et son cep (The Winemaker and his Vine) by André Debru. These iron and steel works of art are prominently displayed in Avenue de la Gare in Magalas, where not so long ago an old winegrower's cellar was in operation. They remind us that viticulture was the main agricultural activity of the village and that many families lived around vines and wine.
